“Go and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19-20
According to the Bible, we all should be sharing God's Word and love with our loved ones, neighbors, and people throughout the world.
The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded the preaching of the Gospel to all nations. Therefore, First Baptist Cameron is striving to become a missional church.
We want evangelism and missions to become a passion, where church leaders and the congregation agree that the church exists to see God glorified in “all nations.”
Ultimately, we have an eternal hope in Jesus Christ and we want others to share in that hope. Jesus said it best in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Short-term missionaries work with local believers to spread the Gospel message and the love of Jesus with as many people as possible. They help strengthen churches already in existence and help plant new churches.
Feeling called to the mission field for what could be several months or maybe even years? Wanting to live a purposeful life, sharing the love of Christ internationally? There are some great sending agencies that are worth looking into.
