Youth Pastor Update
First, I want to apologize for how long it took to get the Casey’s Cards. We thought we would be able to get them by Christmas, but Casey’s needed a lot more time than we originally thought to get the cards to us.
Nathan and Brady did a good job putting together the Recreation Day. We had a higher attendance than was expected, everyone had a good time, and the youth actually didn’t make a huge mess.
DNOW Weekend is going to be exciting. It will be really great having the college students of Higher Ground here for music, but also for teaching our youth throughout the weekend.
The next youth camp fundraiser will be the Facebook Auction, which will start February 17th. Stay tuned for further details. There will be some really neat stuff this year.
Everything starts and ends with God's Word. We can't begin to impact others until we fit our lives to revolve around God, and not expect God to revolve around us. As we grow in our faith the more that we KNOW what the Bible says and the more we can DO what the Bible says, we can BE who God calls us to be.
Each week, we have a discussion based Bible study where the students are free to ask questions, offer up comments, or voice concerns.
We invite all youth, grades 7-12, to join us for D-Now Weekend, February 3rd-5th. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Aaron or the church office.
Join us Sunday, February 5th for our annual Youth Superbowl Party. We will meet in the gymnasium at 5:00 pm. Kickoff is at 5:30 pm, dinner will be provided.
Our Youth will be going to Fuge Camp June 26th - July 1st in Tennessee. This is a great opportunity for our Youth to fellowship and worship with others their age. If you would like more information or have a youth interested in attending, please contact Pastor Aaron or the Church Office,
